Que dire des nouveaux romans haïtiens?
* * *
Dr. Carey Dardompré has worked as an education professional for twenty years. He holds a doctorate in French and Francophone culture education. His research focuses on claiming la lodyans [the audience] as a literary genre, as it is the essence of Haitian literature. He has contributed works on Haitian literature to academic journals (see below the section on Publications).
As a teacher, Dr. Dardompré bases his approach on interdisciplinary instruction, which combines history, literature, and culture. His experience and education allow him to broaden students’ perspectives and design curriculum to suit their needs.
As an entrepreneur, Dr. Dardompré works cooperatively and independently as well, with equal success. His expertise reinforces his abilities as an organizer of community events, as a communicator who has collaborated with universities and government organizations, and as one who has secured grants. Dr. Dardompré also coached sports teams for several years for the town of Arlington.
