Presentation des activités de RAJKUMARI
For the last 10 years the RAJKUMARI Center has brought the community artistic and cultural excellence. The Center is now transitioning and looking ahead to another great 10 years of serving the community.
We are currently undergoing a 5 year capital campaign for the first institutionalized Indo-Caribbean Arts & Cultural Center in the world.
RAJKUMARI Center for Indo-Caribbean Arts & Culture is a community organization, incorporated with not- for-profit status in 1996.
The Center preserves, teaches and presents the arts and culture of Indo- Caribbean communities from Guyana, Trinidad, and Suriname living in the New York metropolitan and Tri- state area.
The Center works to rejuvenate Indo-Caribbean cultural and artistic life, to restore self-esteem to this new American community.
We always believe in supporting our artists-- students, tradition bearers and professionals alike. This is the first Winter Student Recital where we will present the works of the students of the Rajkumari Center as well as Featured Rajkumari Dancers & Instructors. Our students have been working extremely hard for the last two months studying the North Indian Classical Dance, Kathak and Indo-Caribbean Dance, Chutney. Please join us as we applaud their hard work, dedication and commitment to learning.
